How do you copy and paste quotes from the book you are reading with the Kindle app on the nexus 7 tablet? I have the kindle app on my galaxy mega. Ive read tons of books on here I just downloaded some more and when I try to read them the only thing that shows up is the title and that Im on page 2 but no words..

Hi, Kiddy Kindle recognise. You'd better copy and paste your dowanloaded books to the "Kindle" folder. I connect my phone HTC Desire g to my computer to transfer a downloaded book to my Kindle app to read on my phone but can't find the Kindle folder to copy and paste it into even though I have the icon on my phone. It just doesn't show up under the phone storage on my computer. What can I do? It doesn't show up on the phone storage folder. The background is quite gray. I've tried all the settings and cannot, for the life of me, figure out what has happened. The screen is fine brightness with all my other apps. Search for a book. You can choose to only have it show available copies if you push that big green button just above your search results. Click the book you want to check out. Your book will be there. It may take a few minutes to download, depending on how long the book is.

Not a stupid question! You are listening to them offline — no data or internet connection needed once they've downloaded. This sounds so much easier than dealing with Overdrive on my computer which has sent me into tears of frustration more than once so that at this point, I'm only getting audiobook on CD from my library which makes me old skool and also limits my selection. Thanks so much for this. I've been using Overdrive for years now.
I check out lots of ebooks from the library too. I love being able to check out books without going to the library. I love OverDrive, but I sure didn't know the app has been upgraded to listen to the books faster. I wonder if the Android app hasn't gotten the upgrade yet. I also rarely browse the books on my phone. Instead I browse on my computer, make lists of stuff I want to read later, put books on hold, etc.
I'm still anxiously awaiting the day when we can sync GoodReads and OverDrive. I know it will happen one day. I just know it.

Step 9 - Lets assume that you download more files in the future and the audio-book is no longer shown at the top of your phone when you swipe down. Don't worry the audio-book is still on your device. Listening to the audio-book from downloads is still very easy.
Click on the apps icon on your phone. Then go find the downloads icon. Click on that and you will see a list of all your downloaded files. The audiobook should be shown in this list.
